Synopses: Swachh Bharat Mission or SBM is an all India mission with two sub mission, Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) and Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban). For rural areas, SBM (G) mission aims to eliminate open defecation, promote overall cleanliness and adoption of hygiene practices, accelerate sanitation coverage and ensure toilet use. It also aims to motivate communities and panchayati raj institutions to make gram panchayats open defecation free (ODF). This film highlights the SBM (G) guidelines and strategies released by the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation to provide guidance to states for the implementation of this national flagship programme. The film is set in a fictional village where young people are motivated and take action to bring about positive changes and eliminate the practice of open defecation from their village.
