COVID-19 Materials
As of 7th January 2020, a new strain of Coronavirus was identified. The virus has been renamed by WHO as SARS-CoV-2 and the disease caused by it as COVID-19. On 28 February 2020, WHO increased its risk assessment of COVID-19 to very high at global and regional levels. Risk communication and community engagement (RCCE)will be the mainstay for the containment of COVID-19. UNICEF and WHO have jointly developed a package of risk communication materials approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. These posters focus on use of mask and when to wear a mask. These posters have been approved by MoHFW. *These posters have not been developed by UNICEF India.
