As on 7th January 2020, a new strain of Coronavirus was identified. The virus has been renamed by WHO as SARS-CoV-2 and the disease caused by it as COVID-19. Risk communication and community engagement (RCCE) will be the main stay for containment of COVID-19. This Railway Announcement PSA has been developed by UNICEF for people who are travelling by trains in all 36 states and union territories in India. It provides important messages on precautions to be taken when travelling, importance of general hygiene and hand hygiene, keeping safe distance from other travellers, downloading the Aryogra Setu app, use of mask, quit smoking and tobacco consumption and contacting helplines in case of cough, fever or difficulty in breathing.
