As on 7th January 2020, a new strain of Coronavirus was identified. The virus has been renamed by WHO as SARS-CoV-2 and the disease caused by it as COVID-19. Risk communication and community engagement (RCCE) will be the main stay for containment of COVID-19. This brochure is a part of the RCCE package. This brochure has been developed for SHG members of Chhattisgarh Rajya Gramin Ajivika Mission- BIHAAN (also known as State Rural Livelihood Mission). This brochure covers important aspects related to COVID19 on which SHG members will be trained such as making and using masks, guidance on what to do at workplace, preventive behaviours to be promoted among the community, stigma and discrimination, health of pregnant women, children and adolescent girls etc.
