As on 7th January 2020, a new strain of Coronavirus was identified. The virus has been renamed by WHO as SARS-CoV-2 and the disease caused by it as COVID-19. Risk communication and community engagement (RCCE) will be the main stay for containment of COVID-19. This Radio PSA /caller tune focuses on unlock one and has been developed for general public in all 36 states and union territories in India and activated across 22 telecom sectors in India. It focuses on key behaviours like maintaining physical distance of two metres, wearing mask in public places and not going out unnecessarily even during this unlock situation where some relaxations have been provided to people. It also provides the central helpline number 1075 and State HL No 104 for more information.This mobile pre caller tones has been approved by MoHFW. *This mobile caller tune has been developed by UNICEF India and is activated across the 22 telecom sectors. |
