Synopses: A poster advocating measures to prevent childhood diarrhoeal episodes and how to provide timely care to your child at the first sign of diarrhoea before it can become life-threatening. Three important measures are advised: 1). To treat dehydration with ORS Solution until the diarrhoea subsides and Zinc tablets for 2 weeks 2). Administer a liquid diet that is readily available at home such as coconut water, buttermilk, rice/dal water 3). Children below 6 months should be given only breast milk. Any other liquids should not be given.
