This training module, developed in consultation with the National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) serves as a training resource on SBCC (Social and Behaviour Change Communication) to government functionaries and program managers around DRR (Disaster Risk Reduction). It aims to enhance key stakeholders’ capacities around SBCC for Disaster Risk Reduction, from prevention, mitigation and preparedness, to crisis response and recovery. Guidance on planning, implementing and monitoring SBCC, specific to flood, cyclone, earthquake and public health emergency contexts are available in this document.
