Synopses: This documentary film discuses subjects like menstruation, importance of healthy sanitation habits and hygiene. For every adolescent girl, this phase of life is a critical transitional period of physical, emotional and psychological changes. The onset of menstruation in girls is an important milestone- it marks the beginning of womanhood. However, India’s daughter feel scared, embarrassed and humiliated by the old age attitudes and beliefs prevailing among their parents, families and communities. Thus menstruation period becomes highly scary when there is an absence of toilet. The objective of the film is to advocate for a separate clean toilet for girls at school and home to ensure healthy life for adolescent girls.
