COVID-19 Folklore for Social Change Video Sadri
As identified in January 2020, the new strain of coronavirus has been renamed by WHO as SARS-CoV-2 and the disease caused by it as COVID-19. Risk communication and community engagement (RCCE) will be the main stay for containment of COVID-19. Folk songs are owned by a community and therefore can effectively reach the local masses. This video consists of a folk song of the tea garden community of Assam. It has been created by a tea garden adolescent to create awareness on preventive measures of COVID-19 like handwashing, maintaining physical distance and respiratory hygiene.
