COVID-19 Poster of Role of PRI Assamese
As identified in January 2020, the new strain of coronavirus has been renamed by WHO as SARS-CoV-2 and the disease caused by it as COVID-19. Risk communication and community engagement (RCCE) will be the main stay for containment of COVID-19. Folk songs are owned by a community and therefore can effectively reach the local masses. This is a poster on roles and responsibilities of Panchayati Raj Institutions or Gram panchayats on response and containment of COVID-19. This poster has been developed and implemented by PRIs throughout Assam under State Institute of Panchayat and Rural Development (SIPRD), Assam.
