COVID 19 poster / leaflet on Do’s and Don’ts for general public, Assamese

As on 7 th January 2020, a new strain of Coronavirus was identified. The virus has been renamed by WHO as SARS-CoV-2 and the disease caused by it as COVID-19. On 28 February 2020, WHO increased its risk assessment of COVID-19 to very high at global and regional levels. Risk communication and community engagement (RCCE) will be the main stay for containment of COVID-19. This poster/ leaflet outlines the do's and don'ts for the general public ing cum banner outlines the measures taken by the Government of Assam for prevention of the spread of the Coronavirus for the general public. The leaflet is in Assamese.

Note: As of 7th January 2020 a new strain of Coronavirus was identified. The virus has been renamed by WHO as SARS-CoV-2 and the disease caused by it as COVID-19. On 28 February 2020 WHO increased its risk assessment of COVID-19 to very high at global and regional levels. Risk communication and community engagement (RCCE)will be the mainstay for the containment of COVID-19. UNICEF developed a package of risk communication materials approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The 37 radio spots in various languages focus on key behaviors like handwashing with soap at critical times social distancing cough and sneezing mannerisms and seek treatment. These radio spots have been approved by MoHFW. *These radio spots have not been developed by UNICEF India. COVID-19 Risk Communication and Community Engagement
