This SBCC/IEC Manual is a training resource for program managers, implementers, and communicators working in the area of sanitation and hygiene, especially under the theSwachh Bharat Mission. This training manual gives an orientation to the core components of ODF Plus, which includes Solid Waste Management (biodegradable waste management, GOBAR-Dhan, plastic waste management) and Liquid Waste Management (grey water management, fecal sludge management), through a behavioral lens, and provides details on various SBCC processes. A Communication Plan Matrix is provided, including key messages, communication approaches, and capacity-building activities that can be used to improve planning, implementation, and monitoring for communication at state, district, and GP levels.
