The IEC material has the key message(s) on the danger signs in babies/children when the child is infected with measles disease and explains the related child health complications in the short/long term. Also, appeals to the parents to get their child immunized with Measles Rubella Vaccine. The IEC material has been used by Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai during Measles outbreak in Mumbai in year 2022-2023 where comparatively high child mortality rate was observed. The posters were deployed in all government health facilities, private medical practitioner’s clinics, and were used during community engagements at the helpdesks.
