Synopses: The flip book contains information on safety of water at village level. It pictorially describes the role of district council, panchayat, youth groups, self-service institutions, water laboratory and horticulture department. It also describes the role of behaviour change communication (BCC) programmes in creating awareness on water safety. The flip book also describes use of various BCC tools such as posters, puppet shows and other inter-personal communication tools. The flipbook can be used by frontline functionaries during gram sabha, surveys, while distributing literature, during village mapping exercises and other workshops and training programmes regarding water safety. It also emphasises the importance of repair and maintenance of equipment in the village to ensure water safety and quality and community monitoring of water security and safety.
