The guidelines describe the use of communication package developed for tOPV (trivalent Oral Polio Vaccine) to bOPV (the bivalent Oral Polio Vaccine) SWITCH. The package consists of materials for use in the public sector, i.e., government medical doctors, Cold Chain Handlers (CCHs) and Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs). A pen drive in the kit comprises IEC prototypes (open files) for use by the states. These open files can be modified according to local needs and demands (vis-a-vis language, culture, social norms, etc.) and use a pre-designed format developed to meet all communication and design principles.
