The pilot communication campaign’ Apni Baat Apno Ke Saath’ was implemented at certain parts of the Mumbai city in year 2022 by the Citizens Association for Child Rights (CACR) in support with UNICEF, USAID, and the Maharashtra inter-faith alliance. The program touched upon the social issues related to mental wellbeing, health, immunization, and anaemia in adolescents. The leaflet on Adolescent Anaemia were distributed at the household level and these leaflets were used at community helpdesk to lead the interactions to create awareness through counselling. The leaflet contains the messages on the importance of iron rich & nutritious diet, what is Anaemia? why is it important to take treatment for Anaemia? key symptoms of Anaemia and presents survey questions to understand how community manages their mental health. These leaflets were also used during engagement in school program with the students.
