This policy brief depicts social and behaviour change interventions to promote handwashing including: o Engaging community members to plan and execute the interventions o Use of peer educators for interventions o Community mobilisation using school children o Social and behaviour change strategy using multiple channels The above interventions were identified through an evidence review conducted by Population Council, USAID and UNICEF under Call to Action initiative.
