Healthy Parents Healthy Child Initiative

The project Healthy Parents: Healthy Child Initiative was launched in April 2018. The document explains guidelines for the implementation of evidence-based strategies for further reduction of maternal and child mortality. The study supports the evidence that preconception care is critical for promoting maternal and newborn health. Prevention of low birth weight and preterm babies by promoting preconception care will not only prevent neonatal mortality but also childhood malnutrition, neurocognitive impairment, birth defects, and non-communicable diseases in adult life. COVID-19 formative study in UP- findings and insights for communication response

Rapid assessment of the knowledge, risk perception, trust, and acceptance of proposed COVID vaccination among adult men and women of Uttar Pradesh. A formative study was done to inform the RCCE for vaccination. The qualitative study consisted of 28 key informant interviews and 28 in-depth interviews in four districts: Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Lalitpur, and Moradabad.
